Our Client, a government trade association, needed extensive digital cataloging for their electronic database. We performed database maintenance on an as-needed basis and advised in the selection of material for cataloging, scanning and weeding purposes. All cataloging, scanning and OCR operations are performed at our office in Maryland. LAC also provides scanning and OCR for designated material, as well as creating full-text virtual links to material for viewing by the Client’s user community. Preparatory to scanning, material is broken apart and then rebound as a last step before delivery to the Client. Complementing the digitization services, we provide copy and original cataloging for books, documents, mixed media and other archival material.
